August 1, 2014 - Vancouver, BC - Indochino, the leader in custom menswear, is introducing its Heritage Collection for Fall 2014, a selection of carefully curated garments inspired by the sophisticated styles of the mid-twentieth century. Featuring classic pieces reimagined through vivid colors and textured fabrics, the new collection will help modern men update their wardrobe for the cooler autumnal season from August 1.
The color palette for fall focuses on blue-indigo and charcoal in suit wear, with on-trend hunter green, burgundy and deep plum hues adding warmth in shirts and accessories. Patterns range from conservative pinstripes to bolder checks, stripes and diamonds. For fabrics, luxury blends have been added for this season, with cashmere used in suits and sports jackets and cotton-wool and cotton-silk blends in the shirts.
Comprised of suits, separates, shirts and accessories, each item in the collection can be paired with complementing pieces from the suite or styled separately. Suits start at $449 and shirts from $79 with customization options include lining, lapel width, pocket style and monogramming.
The new collection is available online at www.indochino.com and in store at Indochino’s showrooms in Toronto and Vancouver from today. To view the Lookbook, visit www.indochino.com/collection/fall/lookbook.
Quotations
The Heritage Collection is the first head-to-toe set from fashion veteran Tom Kearnan, Indochino’s Director of Merchandising:
“For fall, we have taken classic heritage pieces and given them a modern day twist. This translates into beautiful herringbone suits in this season’s indigo or charcoal, authentically woven hunter green micro check shirts and fabulous ties with contrasting patterns on the tips and tails.
“There are endless ways to style this collection. Pair a three piece suit with a crisp white shirt for a classic work look, then remove the jacket and add a bowtie when it’s time to play. Stay casual with a premium sports coat worn over a complementary patterned shirt and jeans. Or mix and match our separate pants, shirts and jackets for seemingly infinite possibilities.”
